Active Flare Protocol

READ THIS FIRST:
You are in a flare. It will pass.

Your brain is in a chemical storm. Don't try to "think" your way out. Just follow these steps to stop adding to the bucket.

1. Stop Everything Right Now
  • Stop eating. Even if it’s "safe," your digestive system needs a break. Give it 4–6 hours of rest.
  • Stop exercising. Heat and exertion dump more histamine into your blood. Stay cool and still.
  • Stop supplements. Unless it’s an acute antihistamine prescribed by your doctor, put the vitamins away until the storm passes.
2. What To Eat (When you are ready)

Stick to these three things only for the next 24 hours:

  • Plain white rice: Freshly cooked, never leftovers from the fridge.
  • Boiled chicken breast: Take it directly from the freezer to the pan. Do not thaw on the counter.
  • Distilled or fresh spring water: Avoid mineral waters or flavored drinks.
Rule: No spices, no oils, and absolutely no fermented foods (yogurt, vinegar, soy sauce).
3. The 30-Second Sensory Reset

The Vagus Shock

Splash ice-cold water on your face or hold an ice pack to your chest. This signals your nervous system to exit "fight or flight" and helps stabilize mast cells.

Once the fog clears, we can look at your bucket again.
